The Garden of the Atlantic

In Santana, you can also visit the traditional houses from Madeira, the historical city of Machico and the "Tern's Natural Reserve".

The cuisine is varied, always with fresh fish, quality meat and a delicious typical confectionary. Taste the swordfish fillets, the famous kebab on a laurel stick or the typical "Bolo do Caco". Have it with a Madeira wine and cool off with the traditional Poncha. Evening entertainment is guaranteed! Have fun at the Casino da Madeira, walk through Funchal centre or enjoy the atmosphere in one of the many terraces of the city.
