Singapore

Lion City

2 Aug to 02 Aug

Unlike anything you can imagine, Singapore combines the frenetic energy of a great metropolis with a unique level of security and cleanliness. Cultures harmoniously coexist between temples, modern buildings with breath taking views and islands just for entertainment. Live unforgettable experiences in this city.

Start your tour in the Marina Sands Bay, a giant complex with three towers connected by a beautiful garden and a suspended pool with a fantastic panoramic view over the city, from where you can see some of the most famous places. We highlight the curious lotus-shaped building of the ArtScience Museum and the Gardens by the Bay which has a beautiful night show that involves light plays, Disney songs and the Singapore River as scenery. The sprawling Orchard Road is the bane of shopping lovers with its four kilometres of shopping malls. Scattered throughout the city you'll find beautiful churches and Hindu and Buddhist temples that you can explore, as well as the districts of Chinatown, Little India and the bohemian waterfront area of Clarke Quay.

It is almost mandatory to photograph the symbol of the city in the Merlion Park, a creature half fish, half lion, which is a reference to the times when Singapore was a fishing village and to the name of the city which means "Lion City". One of the main tourist attractions is the Ferris wheel of the Singapore Flyer which offers a panoramic view of the entire city and allows you to observe part of Malaysia and Indonesia. In this complex you will find some of the best local restaurants and also a flight simulator. And don't forget that you cannot leave without spending a day on the island of Sentosa, close to the city and entirely dedicated to entertainment with the Universal Studios, hotels and artificial beaches.
